It is very difficult picture music!
1. Forår på Rømø (Spring on Rømø)
2. Tåge på Kegnæs (Fog in Kegnæs)
3. Limfjords krabber (Limfjord's crabs)
4. Lørdag i Tivoli (Saturday in Tivoli)
Denmark is a very exciting “small-big” country, which inspired me to compose the “Danish Miniatures“.
... Spring time on the Rømø Island, where I found that disharmony is actually harmonic and beautiful, when I observed the nature: little, leaping lambs, birds, wind, water and sand! ...
... On the other side of Jylland, on the Island of Als, is the peninsula Kegnæs, which is often covered with fog, coming from the Flensborg Fjord ...
... Towards the north is Limfjord. I was fascinated watching how the crabs fought with a large jellyfish ...
... Finally, I tried to imagine the famous Tivoli in Copenhagen on a Saturday evening under the sparkling lights. There were musicians, who played well on their own, but together - they didn’t sound well, or maybe they did? ...
I would like to invite you to experience something from this small but big country through the ”Danish Miniatures“ for piano.
